Born and raised in Kajang town he has indulged
in the music scene playing with wedding bands
in his teens. Later he explored into the rock
scene and started jamming with local bands and
has released a Malay album Mediana in the early
1990's. Later in the years he became active
in
writing
Tamil rock songs and formed the Indian rock band
that rocked Malaysia crazy... the band was called
Kashmir Stone. Although in the beginning Brahma
was a drummer later he became the main vocalist
and guitarist for the band.
Arun-bassist, guitarist, backing vocals
Born in Ipoh and raised in Kajang, his early
music influence came from playing with church
bands. He has also started composing songs during
that period. Arun played everything from church
music to metal at various venues. Being versatile
and
talented
he was later roped to be Kashmir Stone bassist
and remain as one of the co-founder. He is actively
involved in song writing and producing with Kashmir
Stone.
Adrian- lead guitarist (secessionist)
Adrian, man of few words… but with extreme
talent and with one audition Adrian made it
to the band when the band was looking for a
guitarist to play with them for a live gig.
Adrian himself has his own credit of producing
and playing guitar in his own album Bent wavelength.
He is a
professional studio secessionist and also a private
guitar tutor. With talent and discipline in hand
he became Kashmir Stone's prominent guitarist.
Jika-drums (secessionist)
Jika joined the band during a jamming session
at Klasika studio in Gombak.
Having played in the pub scene for years it
wasn't
difficult
for him to fit in the band. He also teaches Malay
percussions such as gendang, kompang and others
as his part time hobby. He has credits playing
with the top 10 pub bands all around Malaysia
and Singapore.Jika has contributed a unique way
of drum playing to Kashmir Stone.
